send them to a private school. My kids' school has a deal with johns-Hopkins for High achievers. My one son takes classes there a couple times a week or they send a professor over.

I think home schooling can be a good thing, Gem, but I'm not proposing that you home school your kids. Only that you look at their web sites for course materials so you can help your daughter at her potential, not at her grade level. There's lots of stuff out there!

If you're interested, my daughter-in-law is almost an activist on the subject, and I can get some reccos from her about what to look at?

Be forewarned, though, that if your daughter does really well, it will confuse the school system, and they won't know what to do with her. They may actually put pressure on you to stop helping her.
