They describe in Iraq that was really spinning into a vortex of corruption from the very top in which people were lying to Saddam, lying to each other for money; the graft and how much you could get out of the system rather than how much you could produce was a dominant issue.

Sounds like America too, old Duke Cunningham...don't bend over to pick up the soap...had his way with graft and corruption. It's there, wide spread, but you won't bother to look.

Control has moved from Pennsylvania Ave to K street. Do you have any doubt? LOL

Sure Saddam was an A$$hole too. No argument. He was contained, and could have been pressed out, while letting Iraqis solve their own affairs. Which they have to do now anyway.

Elementary my dear Watson.

Yer fearless leader sez:

"Whatever mistakes have been made in Iraq, the worst mistake would be to think that if we pulled out, the terrorists would leave us alone," Bush said from the Oval Office, with a photo of his twin daughters and the American flag behind him. "They will not leave us alone. They will follow us. The safety of America depends on the outcome of the battle in the streets of Baghdad."

Well first of all...there ain't no Al Qaeda in Iraq...so if we pull out, the terrorists should really get scared, cause now we'll have our troops ready to deploy where we find the terrorists next. So far Baghdad hasn't proven to be a haven for terrorists. It's a civil war.

LOL politics get pretty whacky when you take the nation to war for the wrong reasons...reasons that change every few weeks...because the old reason get's worn out or is no longer true.

Besides...all those pesky investigations would have to start up. Better put away the Jim Beam and put on the Sunday suit.
