You make a point that the delegitimization the Muslim cause is the way to go.. . My comment wrt to Layton and the liked post is simply to ask HOW.. do you suggest we do that... You must think it is a good idea since you propose it... as opposed to the current strategy...

Since the current strategy is getting nowhere, delegimitization is an option that should be explored for whatever it may be worth.

It appears that Bush has started the ball rolling in Saudi Arabia by stating US forces will be withdrawn from that country.

Someone once asked me what was the best way to make peace with the Muslims. My stock answer was addressing their claims and delegitimizing them. He disagreed and insisted that terror and humiliation will teach the Muslim bastards, ragheads and turbanheads who is boss and they will buckle under. He insisted that terrorising the Muslims and humiliating them, big-time, was the only way to go. That was way back in early 2002 not long after 9/11.

How about delegitimizing Islam by stopping aid to any country that does not offer Freedom of Religion. How about deligitimizing Islam by stopping trade with countries that do not allow Freedom of Religion. How about honoring countries that wish to be Muslim by forbidding missionaries and tourists to go there.

How about discussing bringing the Jews in Israel to Canada and banishing Islam from Canada so that the fighting can end?

You know Rich... The Muslims do a pretty good job of humiliating themselves to remind you of the T.E. Lawrence line. Maybe Chopra should address that issue instead of asking a loaded question...

He disagreed and insisted that terror and humiliation will teach the Muslim bastards, ragheads and turbanheads who is boss and they will buckle under That is of course not the answer... I've never suggested that.

We also have the kidnapping and beheading of tourists in the Philippines... the attempted insinuation of Shariah law into the West.. Interesting that in Canada Muslims are only 1.5% of the population yet already there has been a movement in Ontario to introduce Shariah law. Failed so far....

In France and Britain, Islam is the second largest religion... Thinking of your Tennyson quote... how long before the insinuation of religion into the courts and how will that be beneficial ?

Well, as events have shown heretofore, that strategy failed miserably. The destruction of mosques, Abou Ghraib tortures, total destruction of Fallujah and the murder of women and children and use of white phosphorus bombs & etc & etc failed to subdue the Muslims. On the contrary, it turned out that the acts of terrorism and humiliation only fueled ongoing Muslim anger and resistance.
On Iraq.... I agree... I agree.. I agree... I AGREE!!!

I watched the CBC special based upon the 9/11 commission findings. Pretty sad how this all came out and could have been prevented... including Afghanistan..
