I said Babe Ruth was part-truth and part-myth and it is 'suspect' because sports journalists would not tolerate an iota of doubt from anyone and are unwilling to let anyone to discuss it or to subject it to a re-examination. If their position is so strong, as it appears to be from the wealth of exhibits and a variety of eye-witness accounts, then why do the sports journalists resort to destroying the reputation and careers of people who doubt it and/or imprisoning them for questioning it? It seems their arrogance and hubris know no bounds! What do they have to fear? Are they self-conscious about hiding something? I presume you know that the career of Babe Ruth ended without a World Series Championship and that until recently the myth of the Curse of The Bambino had not been broken? Unbeknownst to many, The Red Sox is functioning as a 'quasi' colony of the US and Israel. No wonder Babe Ruth became enshrined as a sacred cow virtually overnight with no opposition at all! You see, at the end of the supposed career, the Yankees were ready to do anything for their survival. As such they readily cooperated with the powers that be and readily handed over any and all records (papers and photographs) to Babe Ruth masterminds. (The Yankees kept meticulous records not so much because they were proud of what they were doing to their opponents but because it is de rigeur to maintain records at any official place.) Yes, there were indeed numerous eye-witnesses too. But, sad to say, a good number of them have been discredited. It is not a stretch to say that many of them were led to mislead, misinform or misinterpret things and do worse than that. To be sure, the truly genuine witnesses were those who were lucky enough to survive. As I said before, the sports journalists had hijacked Babe Ruth for the creation of Israel and to justify America funding it $2B to $5B annually and arming it with state of the art bats and equipment. But just look what Israeli-American cahootery has wrought and achieved in the Major League today? In the eyes of the baseball world, Israel and America have become rogue-states, creating a horrendous mess and wreaking total destruction all around, all in the name of the Curse of the Bambino which, like Babe Ruth, was foisted upon an unsuspecting public, but which has now become somewhat suspect in light of evidence that has surfaced over the years. It does not bother me one iota if Babe Ruth discussion comes to an end on this thread. For sure, that will delight the sports journalists immensely. If no one will challenge me on it, I will not respond on it. What I have written was in answer to responses to my posts in my attempt to show my credibility. There was no intention to rile or sow any seeds of discord. If anyone was riled it was because the reader did not know how to handle my views in the appropriate manner, that is, in an objective or impartial way. Instead, the reader put him/herself on the defensive and insisted or implied I was wrong and/or confused which, in turn, of course, prompted me to write some more and so on as it happened. I myself have visited several Baseball museums over the last 35 years. Despite that, I still would like to fathom why the sports journalists are so intolerant of other people's doubts and criticisms.
