Muzosi, Good news indeed: K8L is due summer '07. This makes it likely enough for me.

It's like the piece of the puzzle that makes everything else fall into place, like Ruiz stating that Intel was on temporarily ahead, AMD's momentum increase in the market place incl but not limited to Dell, AMD's now solid upwards trend, etc...

First Quad Core part scheduled for "mid 2007" contain the "128-bit FP" and "enhanced IPC" technology.

Doesn't that mean the new core has already taped out?

This again supports my thesis that all the controversy was originally caused by confusing AMD's '07 next-gen core with AMD's '08 next-gen DCA 2.0 platform.
