Do ANY Americans believe this fearmongering crap? It's just the chimp Caesar trying to run out the clock on his term so he can stick the NEXT President with the 'defeat".

OTOH, it may be the next president will bring victory out of defeat. Who knows some Military Genius may run for President and find the perfect way to make this a stunning victory.

If only you could channel all of your anger towards the real enemy rather than your constant insults toward any that disagree with you.

<Do ANY Americans believe this fearmongering crap?>

You need names and numbers ? Start with the families that lost sons and daughters in the Beirut bombing and work your way to the USS Cole and then read todays paper regarding the embassy in Syria.

Get a clue.

Four armed Islamist militants were foiled in an attempt to blow up the US embassy in Damascus today.

A huge vehicle bomb failed to go off before the attackers were stopped by Syrian security forces, prompting messages of gratitude from the White House and the US secretary of state, Condoleezza Rice.

The US has a strained relationship with Syria, which it lists as a sponsor of terror, but White House spokesman Tony Snow said after the incident that it was hoped Syria would become an ally.

Iraq and Iran to sign deal on shared oil fields
Sep. 13, 2006. 01:00 AM www.thestar.com

Iraq and Iran plan to develop oil fields that straddle their border and Iraq will pump crude to its neighbour's refineries, deepening commercial ties between the two oil producers, Iraq's oil minister said yesterday.

The deal, first explored by Iran and Iraq in the 1970s, entails both countries defining their reserves and then pumping the crude jointly through a pipeline Iran said could be built in nine months.

Iraq could forge similar deals involving oil fields on borders with Syria and Kuwait.

The deal comes as Iraq's prime minister visits Tehran for the first time since he came to office five months ago.
