:-) Or maybe it's right for everyone to challenge everyone else, since we live in a fractious democracy. Could that be the right answer? That maybe we should all do what our consciences dictate within the confines of the law, and try to at least understand that other people obeying their consciences are probably not trying to destroy the republic, but are, instead, trying to keep the republic as they understand it, safe and intact.
