<they are hunting down AQ & Taliban...> You seem entirely unfamiliar with the history of the Taliban, how they came to be in power, who supported them then and how they are sustained now. You seem also to out of touch with the political realities in both Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. Both countries would show up at or near the top of any list of countries that have done and continue to do the most harm in the world promoting radical Islam at its worst. Iraq under Saddam was one of the few places on earth where these extremists were clearly unwelcome and hunted down before we invaded and opened the border for them to flood into Iraq to kill our young men and women and to set the wheels in motion for civil war and the eventual establishment of yet another repressive radical Islamist state.
