Lazarus back in the grave! dybdahl: Ah at last we agree on something. The losses at the distance are huge as the attenuation is a factor of the square of the distance. Lazarus is dead to classical science.

In physics, an inverse-square law is any physical law stating that some physical quantity or strength is inversely proportional to the square of the distance from the source of that physical quantity.

The above law is universal to all manner of energy propagation. Further to understand dybdahls point you have to see the energy as being radiated in a spreading manner.

Add to that additional losses due to atmospherics (water vapor, etc.) and we see that Lazarus is a product of the new science that uneducated "greens" bandy about.
