I met my best friend in the whole world on SI, and some other really nice people. I have to say that while I've been rather creeped out by some elements on the coffee shop (and there is, imo, a psycho sexual element to a lot of the harassment of women on these boards which is quite odd), the other people I've met and made friends with have more than made up with it. I've gotten support and wonderful advice from many people on SI. I've met some wonderful women (not to take away anything from the equally wonderful men).
