I am sorry -- but to bother discussing this with somebody who is obviously completely unaware of the role of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan just seems like a waste of time. Iran is the media target du jour. Once you move beyond the world of the sound bite perhaps you will inform yourself about the history of terrorism in the region and our role in providing the resources that create and sustain terrorism. We -- you and I -- provide the resources for terrorism. Nothing -- and I do mean nothing --- has been done to change the nature of the world we live in these past years that will have any impact on the eventual collapse of the entire region into radical Islam. The spiritual center of that movement is Saudi Arabia. The only country int he region that really had any major counterweight in the region was Iraq -- and we destroyed Iraq. Iran could easily have been a leading ally in a true liberalization of the region -- but we have been too busy screwing with them all these years to have any way of making that happen. Now we get the nutballs coming out of the woodwork saying "lets bomb them". You are the greatest danger to us all -- the ignorant person who thinks our problems will be solved by bombing Iran.
