Not so many years ago, Iran was a remarkably progressive place, except of course for the brutal dictator who was our "ally" -- the Shah of Iran. We loved our ally and showered him with billions of dollars in weapons to use against his own people. Well, that had something to do against Soviet right ? What should you do ? Now they keep making threats. What should you do ? You better leave Saudi as is ... deal with Iran first.
