Any regime, Right or Left, that thinks torture, secret prisons and preemptive invasions are good ideas needs to be vigorously opposed, IMO. Most important, the regime that did that and dug in its heels about the need to do it, has fallen in the polls to minority support, and can't seem to get out of the hole they dug for themselves. The free market has spoken. No majority for Bush-style conservatism, period. Not that it seems to matter to the vocal devotees. I think they have too much emotional investment in the whole dogma to contemplate the actual poll numbers. So they put it all down to an evil "MSM-BDS" conspiracy, LOL.
