based on what ork? wishful thinking or bearish sentiment on the threads?

part is the knowledge that bull markets have scary plunges for little reason and bear markets have panicky short covering rallies. miners had the former two days ago (I lost 14% of my miner PF in four days) and homies had the latter yesterday.

part is the knowledge that the Fed is going to panic at some point and try to bail out the housing bubble by printing money. we can't be that far away from it and the miners will start rallying ahead of that.

part is gut feel.

part is wishful thinking. <g>

none is thread sentiment, which I think is irrelevant and not representative of the world.
