technically the charts still say down for gold and goldshares ... I'd love to be wrong.

One possibility is that gold is indicating money is still not tight enough. CPI reading this friday may surprise on the upside, increasing the odds that the fed is not done - this can certainly delay the launch of a new gold bull market, giving one better (lower) price points for entry...

as we already discussed -- there have been fakeout breakdowns before -- they are rare, but usually come at the start of large moves up. Sure we COULD be there now ... but liklihood is small.
