I've purchased the RNO warrants through Ameritrade. It is simple if you follow the procedure. Call Ameritrade and ask specifically to place the trade through Cannacord. If the person you are dealing with acts confused, ask to talk to the Canadian desk or failing that, Paul Thurston. In my experience this kind of order will not fill if placed on line even if your bid is well within the current market ask. Sometimes even if you place the order by phone it will not fill. However if you track the order on Stockhouse, you can tell when the order should have filled. Then call Thurston and mention the facts of the situation and he will get some action. I've placed dozens of canadian orders this way through Ameritrade. It's sometimes exasperating but basically a simple process.

The vast majority of Canadian warrants have no US pink symbol (a few exceptions like some Silver Wheaton warrants and Breakwater Resources warrants). So with TDAmeritrade, you must use one of their brokers. You can buy all the Canadian warrants you want with TDAmeritrade, just phone it in.
