This year it was the corn moon. If it had come closer to the equinox it would have been the harvest moon.
Funny thing is, farmers around here have been bringing in the corn for the last 2 weeks.

Of note, today is the full harvest moon, occurring nearest to the Autumnal Equinox.
In 1 out of 3 years, it comes in October and 2006 is one of those years.
