This guy is SICK.

Is English your second language?

Don't you mean "This guy was sick?" ;-)

"That kid in Canada who shot up the school's web page. This guy is SICK"

EXTREMELY sick individual.

Many years ago I worked as a counsellor. My basic orientation was Rogerian Client directed therapy. I noticed a very important and seemingly simplistic fact: People need to be seen and they need to be heard. This is where they get essential validation of their existence.

Fast forward to Montreal, Canada. This kid is on a web site. He has banned everybody from his life. He has segregated himself from others. He speaks of his contempt for the opinions of others and for their character. But have his needs changed? NO. He still needs to be seen and heard.

Over and over he posts pictures and over and over he rants with a foaming mouth. See me, see me, see me, see me. But of course, nobody does. He is only shooting off his mouth and he is only posting pictures. He does not feel noticed or heard. He does not feel seen. He is not a picture. He is not a sentence.

He yells louder. He segregates real people from his life. He bans real people from his life. He rants and screams on a lonely web site: see me, see me, see me. But because he has segregated everybody and banned everybody...NOBODY REAL NOTICES HIM.

Nobody real does.

But in his final desperate sick pathetic act they all see him and notice him...and maybe he feels it as the bullets rip through his existence and he goes extinct.

Parents need to be aware. When their kids are banning people from their lives and segregating others...it is a danger sign. They need to be seen and heard. They need to be noticed. They need to feel important.
