I don't think there is an email feature, but there is a better method than marking each board. Both IHUB and SI have way to mark the boards you want to follow. Then you bookmark the "boards" page and you can quickly see if any of the boards you are interested in have new posts.

There is a wealth of knowledgable posters here on SI if you look hard enough. I don't have the time to weed through the bs on some of the other message boards, or time to frequent multiple sites, so this one is the one for me. Even with the batch reading, I still have unread posts from 3 years ago :)
