I agree. We too had parents and grandparents that had long lasting marriages and were only separated by death and were excellent role models for us during our early years of marriages. We felt we had a good foundation to begin our married life and it has proved to be true.

Both of you are to be congratulated. It isn't all smooth sailing but it's worth getting through the rough waters together. My marriage lasted 38 years and two decent citizen children. Then cancer paid us a visit. Betty's been gone a little over 11 years and I still miss her.
