Heavens, Prosomelife and Longie are really struggling today to work around the obviously changing mood of the Country on the question of torture (what is it, who defines it, when is it administered). The Republicans in the Senate are not going to bow to Mr. Bush on this one.....and he will look worse and worse in comparison.

The "big tent" conservatives now refer to Secretary of State Powell as a "house n...r". My, how would they refer to Condi if she dared stray from the Administrations' line?

It's tought to keep screaming about how right you are when the sand is slipping out beneath your feet.

Hang on boys. It'll all be over soon.

Warner, McCain, Graham and Powell. Real vets with real perspective on the issues. Who will American ultimately listen to - them or Mr. Bush and Mr. Rove? Not hard to figure in my book.
