You are referring to the calculus of the worth of our soldiers' lives and our equipment. It is clear that the muslim world would never invest in this kind of technology. They value both muslim lives and the lives of religious people at minimal or less. For Americas who might value lives highly investing large amounts to protect lives of our troops might make more sense. Even so, there has to be the money to be invested. Right now we are using the weapons that will be archaic in just a few years. The idea of using our technological advantage to defeat the attacks of cowardly islamofascists is intriguing.
