Whatever the percentage (I was told 80%) Brazil is almost completely off the need to import oil. And we should immediately follow their example, not by plundering our wildlife refuges and pristine marine sanctuaries as cynical greedy Dennis Pombo "I hate nature" Dick Cheney types want but by replacing oil as our #1 fuel. This will obviously take a massive effort and new leadership in DC, but it can be done and must be done. These self-defeating wars in the Middle East are senseless. Only the fat cat oil tycoons and Arabs win that fight.
