I believe lighter fluid will also work. Might take a couple applications, or overnight, as you suggested.

Isopropyl alcohol that you usually can buy at a drug store...if you can get it into those little tubes..let it sit overnight..add some more the next day then try the print clean procedure.

Thanks for the suggestion on how to clean the ink tubes. I will try it (fingers crossed).
