Either way, it still is a drop over those years, which was the initial point

1 - My initial point was that the map displayed was inaccurate. It clearly was even if you accept the raw data it was based on to be completely accurate.

2 - Other data shows a different story, as I've pointed out in other posts. BEA data of personal income, and BLS data for real hourly compensation for the nonfarm business sector show growth/improvement.
