Apparently it was a ploy to scare Canadians of a Muslim threat at home and hence into supporting and justifying Harper's decision to send troops to Afghanistan, to enable Harper to get himself into into the good books of Bush, and to give Dumbya yet another opportunity to remind Americans of the terrorist menace so that they would continue to support him in his "war on terror" and to enable Muslim haters in Canada to keep on reminding others that the Muslims in their midst are dangerous folks Rich How many times do we have to tell you this before it sinks in. PAUL MARTIN sent Canadian troops to Afghanistan He was helped by Jack Layton. All Harper did was extend the mission that Paul and jack approved. Martin was trying to make it look like he had a clue. Paul Martin sent the troops to Afghanistan now try to hold that simple thought in your mind. Paul Martin you know, the Mulit-millionaire owner of Canada Steamships, flunky of Paul Desmarais and Power Corp, student of the Oil for food scandal guy Maurice Strong. Paul Martin he was PM between Chretien and Harper..... Mostly he was on vacation or out of the country Paul Martin..... If you look he shows up on Google.....
