Boy, me too. My kids early 10 or 12 years are in boxes of 35mm slides. I'd love to have an efficient and affordable way to get those digitized.

My scanner does slides and negs, but so does my local photo store. I would rather pay them to scan them in rather than me, dust off the slides/negs and spend hours scanning them into my computer. Not cheap, about a buck per photo.

Back to printers, most printers now a days are disposable, if you need professional repairs, buy a new one.
