You choose to ally yourself with the muslims who disdain you as much as they do me. What does that say about you? If I made a choice like that, I would consider myself a fool. I didn't choose anything....that's your spin. What you did is choose to ally yourself with the Israelis. In typical rightwinger spin, if I don't agree with you, then I must be allied with the Muslims which I am not. I just refuse to support a militeristic Israel and its overly aggressive act of war against Lebanon. The Israelis are our allies. In today's world that is doubly valuable. Is anyone else besides Britain really an ally? Maybe Britain, Japan and Israel. I see.......you measure allies by whether they agree with you or not on all issues. So then, by that way of thinking, if you want to go out and murder someone and your friend is unwilling to join you, then he is no longer a friend. Sorry, that's not my idea of an alliance. America's long term allies have been Canada, UK, Germany, France, and the Benelux countries. They have been our allies for decades now without financial recompense. With Israel, her hand is always out to the tune of $6 billion per year. Dude, I'll take a German ally over an Israeli ally any old day. Name one of your precious Arab nations that allows conversion to Christianity for instance. "Your precious Israelis are in disarray." Disarrayed or arrayed, I would rather have any Israeli Jew with me in a fight over any Muslim. It shouldn't have to be an either or/black or white proposition; but in true neocon fashion, you are making it that way. What does that mean in real terms: America stands by while Israel goes in and destroys a fledgling democracy. What has happened to the Grand Ole Party when it prefers death to life; when it walks loudly instead of quietly with a big stick; when it interferes inappropriately in the affairs of others; when it prefers enslavement over freedom??? Teddy Roosevelt would be ashamed! Calvin Coolidge would be ashamed! Abraham Lincon would be ashamed!
