Many of the posters who place people on ignore continue to read their posts and reply to them anyway. There is an "ignore off" feature. The ostensible reason is to avoid pm's. I can understand this rationale if one were to have received abusive pms from the ignoree in question, but otherwise, it makes little sense to me. I think I'm capable of deciding what to read on a message board without having an automated feature screen them for me. I don't read most of what is posted anyway<g>
