I'll be interested to see how residential consumers act this winter. Our commodity price here in Maryland for NG last November was over $1.60/therm, and was about $1.25/therm in December and January. This year it may be under $0.80/therm. Certainly a lot less incentive to keep the thermostat turned down when the price is significantly lower.

Just one in in Kenai, Alaska. Export only. From the first production in 1969, the LNG has been sold under a long-term contract to two of Japan’s largest utility companies.
