Within the wafer fab equipment group, firm favors vendors with above-average market share in memory (VSEA, LRCX) as well as vendors with growing market share within the memory segment (AMAT).
Varian is making new 52 week highs FWIW:
Still believe Varian's and Lam's gains are inflicting pain for AMAT.
Supposedly LRCX's share at 65 nm increased compared to 90 nm;
just look how hard it is for NVLS to crack AMAT's CMP business; I am pretty sure AMAT is trying everything to get back into etch.
Did anybody notice how few shares it took yesterday to take some gains from the super volume day back?
