Could be a pump and dump scheme. The article does not even say what percent of the FT fuel is being blended with traditional JP-8 jet fuel for the flight test.

Does seem strange.

Amazing that it rose so much on a mere demonstration that had been publicised in the NYT. Well if it were an efficient market, we'd be wasting out time.
