Bush waits until after Labor Day to propose his terrorist bill and then says "time is running out".

Read "How the GOP Stole the 2004 Election". It is a very clear, short and no-nonsense book listing some 100 ways they did it. I was a little dubious before, but not anymore. RFK Jr., is right. The GOP stole about 350,000 votes in Ohio alone, and stole other large blocks in every single battleground state except Wisconsin.

In every battleground state exit polls showed Kerry with 3-5% more votes than the final tally. And there is no evidence that the normally very reliable exit polls were flawed in any way. Also in 2000, the first time exit polls have ever been wrong. The evdience points to Rove as the architect of a nationwide cheating campaign by the GOP, and smearing too.

How did they do it? Sadly, they have rigged the GOP-owned and controlled voting machines. They have blatantly destroyed ballots and disenfranchised democratic voters. They have made it very difficult for dems to vote or even be registered, but very easy for rightwingers to vote. And the religious right precincts have several times recorded more votes for Bush than there were voters in the entire precinct. It's terrible, criminal, tragic and proves our democracy is no more. Unless we fight back hard and reform the system.

Also, the GOP Ohio legislature recently passed a law which other GOP states hope to copy, that makes it almost impossible for democrats to win any close election. Along with the energy gouging this is the biggest ripoff in US history.
