Let me add to that that information acquired via torture is notoriously unreliable. I just heard on the radio Bush speechifying about the rebuff. You could practically hear the spittle.

I could vote for McCain. I lost a bit of respect after he got slammed by the Rove team in the primaries and then still followed the party line kissing up to bushie.

But that is politics. Glad McCain is taking a stand my respect for him grows enormously over that.
