Since we can make oil from wood, and there is lots of stuff like manitoba maple or bamboo that grows quick and easy to use make oil, we could in theory make oil with the benefit of increasing the green stuff growing while decreasing a lot of the chemicals that destroy the environment. boats driven by turbines are a possibility as well as using sails on some boats. There are lots of ways, I have reduced the electricity use in my house by 30% in the last 3 years. I am reducing my water use, and have reduced my gasoline usage to 20 gallons a month. I also grow a good part of my vegetables organically, from heritage seeds.
