You realize W is looking for coverage for transgressions committed BEFORE the SCOTUS rendered its judgment. Without it, and with the Dems projected to take the house, he's got a real problem on his hands. Watch him get more animated on this as election nears...it's got very little to do with the country's safety.

GOP Rebels are saying Bush puts our Soldiers at risk. Not to mention the rest of our nation and peace and prosperity for the world. And they are right. Notice that most of the GOP rebels are actual combat vets and not a single major Bushie leader has ever served in combat, though they are the "war president" promoters.

Not for one second do I like the way Bush is handling this issue. He is doing everything he can to intimidate Congress and is unwilling to take "no" for answer. The senators in question are weak and likely to back down. However, I wonder what would happen if they didn't.
