Your belief that a top down demolition produces the same results as a classic demolition is in error. I believe I said the exact opposite. I stated that "top-down" creates a pancaking effect where the higher level weight mass "drives" its way downward, which is exactly what was reflected on all the video footage. A classic demolition would have the entire building falling in one structural unit and piling up in a heap at the bottom (stacking). As for your claim that there were suspicious seismic spikes prior to the collapses does not seem to bear weight (if you'll pardon the pun): popularmechanics.com And, in fact, NIST also disputes the pancaking theory, although the end result resembles pancaking", and I think they have a logical rationale for it.. They assert as the inner floors between the bearing walls failed, they collapsed until the weight and dragged the bearing beams that made up the framework of the building inward towards the center. wtc.nist.gov John O'Neill was a thorn in the side of the perpetraitors. His investigation into bin laden threatened to blow bin laden's role as a patsy. Doug.. I think it's clear you couldn't face reality if it slapped you square in the face, bent you over, and tossed your salad.. If they wanted to nail John O'Neill, there were far easier ways of doing so than the method they employed.. And why hit the WTC when they could have hit the NYSE instead.. For what purpose would all of this be done? To take over Afghanistan which has no natural resources (unless you count the relatively measly $$$$ involved in the Unocal pipeline deal)?? What has the "Illuminati" (because this has to be where you're trying to lead us) gained from all of this? The US is hated for pursuing its war on terror. Bush is still in office. We're not really gaining any global power from this and US streets are not yet filled with the sound of goose-stepping Fascist forces... The attack upon Pearl Harbor launched the US into a total global war on two fronts, where all of the US industrial and human power was focused upon waging war... That attack forever altered our mindset as Americans and increased our power throughout the world... So for those who claim the attack was a conspiracy launched by Roosevelt and Churchill, at least I can see a "motive".. But 9/11, despite initial sympathy from Europe and Asia, has not really generated the same kind of motivation and focus as Pearl Harbor.. We're not rampaging across the Middle East with millions of soldiers all mobilized to wage a war on Islamo-Fascism, or some kind of "crusade".. No.. instead we're stuck in the worst kind of war.. a counter-insurgency and "nation-building".. So what have those US government insiders accomplished?? So why don't you go out to Ground Zero Doug.. Zip down your fly and take a big whiz into that hole in the ground. Hell, you might as well drop trough as well and leave a smelly deposit... Because you're essentially defecating on the graves of each and every victim of 9/11 by making the unfounded conspiratorial accusations that you are. Hawk
