"You don't hear women getting all exercised over being called "girl" ..." HA!! I still have bruises from saying, "now, ladies..." <GGG> Interesting point about the reformation of Islam. I hadn't thought of that. Other religions have turned themselves inside out and modified themselves to fit changing times, but Islam is still at about the same level as it was 1500 years ago, and the attitudes of its fundamental adherents reflect the violence of those times. I wonder what could cause its adherents to reconsider their beliefs? Assuming they don't get killed in the process, that is.
