If you can equate greenhouse gas production with energy use in your own mind,.. Dutch greenhouse gas emissions fell 2 percent in 2005, now at 1990 levels, agency says iht.com California, the 6th or 7th largest economy, is trying, but we can't compete with the fed's inaction. 12th largest GHG emitter. Not great, tho. We'll do better. In about 6 years, the US won't be able to come close to meeting our auto standards. Too bad for them. -- "This is the state whose per capita energy consumption has been almost flat for 30 years, even as per capita consumption has risen 50 percent nationally."
