...and after been elected on false promises of a "Schlaraffenland", if there is money, the dems spend it. And if there is no money the hike the taxes...and then spend it.

Republicans are more honest? You must be joking. They push through a bill they call the Energy Bill, which Bush sold as helping America gain energy independence. That bill gave $13B in tax incentives to oil companies. It was nothing more than marketing to enrich oil companies at a time when oil companies are raking money in so fast that they've broken every corporate profit record in the history of this country.

Bush and friends are more dishonest than Nixon, but they remain in office because the dishonesty of the Bush administration is exceeded only by the greed and dishonesty of the Republican Congress. Is it any wonder that the Republican party is losing people like me that have a brain to see through the bullshit in Washington?
