"Neither understands, or even WANTS to understand, the other groups." If that is true then things are indeed hopeless. And it may look like that when you read things like some of the posts on this thread. However, like the solution to Zeno's paradox, when people get out and actually see that we are all human beings given the same conditions, and capabilities, and characteristics by our creator, they see things are different. We may be comforted by the harmony of our groups and we may find creative solutions by struggling with the diverse other groups, but it takes hope and it takes more nobility than hiding your hatred behind doctrine.
