Complete nonsense.

The progressives are for ending the occupation of Iraq and putting more effort into getting the Iraqis to do the policing. So far the budget and the effort from Bush to get that done has been a joke...look at the numbers!

We're for pay as you go. No more republican pork fest.

We're for education.

We're for securing the borders and the ports.

We're for renewing the NATO effort in Afghanistan.

We're for investigating fully the events that led up to and unfolded after 9-11.

We're for full investigation of the Iraq Intelligence bungles.

We're for protecting the Constitution and upholding the Geneva Convention.

We're for renewing with vigor the alliances with the world that have been severely damaged by Bush.

And yes, we're for taking Bush out of the White House ASAP.

Man that's a heck of a lot to be for, and represents a lot of hard work that will need to be done to clean up the diapers of Bush.

Murtha and Kerry both have plans for Iraq which most Americans at least grudgingly agree with. Although I must say Bush-Cheney's stubborn, amateurish, dishonest, arrogant refusal to change course and end the quagmire, like Nixon's from 1968-1973 when he cost 30,000 American lives in Vietnam, has made it difficult to come up with any easy plan. And ou troops and taxpayers pay the price. No one else does.

Murtha stated yesterday on Hardball that no matter what we do there is going to be a bloody year of chaos in Iraq once we leave. But we might as well get it over with because the longer we stay the longer we put off the inevitable. And all that is Bush-Cheney's fault, and their appeasers, not Murtha or Kerry's who had grave reservations and complaints about the way Bush-Cheney got us into that mess to begin with.
