All 259 people on board were killed.> Libya would no doubt argue that it was in retaliation for the USA attack on Libya. That attack was in part retaliation for the murder of PC Yvonne Fletcher. The retaliation was a good thing in my book. Gaddafi must have got a BIG fright when the F111s came through dropping bombs from Britain/USA. Mqurice
