Galileo had it easy....why not ask William Tyndale? The issue of the Earth and Sun is one thing...but Tyndale's mistake earned him the right to be strangled and then his body burned. Plus, Galileo's family still makes good but cheap wine in California....just kidding you wine experts!!

I like the example of Giordano Bruno who was burned at the stake as a heretic by the Catholic Church.
