9/22/06 Update
Score another week for the biotech bears, with the Nasdaq Biotech Index closing Friday down -6.88% YTD (vs. -5.41% YTD at its 9/15/06 close). The bears were no kinder to the Charity Contest portfolios, with the portfolios' median closing down -7.31% YTD (vs. down -6.50% YTD at the 9/15/06 close). At Friday's close, just 8 of the 40 Charity Portfolios were in the black YTD and 19 of the 40 portfolios were outperforming the NBI.
RKRW managed to edge out Wilder to put him back in the lead. At Friday's close, RKRW's portfolio was up 30.66% YTD vs. a 29.82% YTD gain for Wilder's portfolio.
(I am now using the takeover price for CATGY in PGONEIL's portfolio, with no reallocation of funds.)
Have a fun weekend everyone!
