I have never paid attention to the amount of tax. I can find what Ohio supposedly charges which is Gasoline Tax: 28 cents/gallon - add US tax....

I knew they were a greedy bunch however I didn't know how much whining ;) and dining they could do because of the amount of fuel I use. They should ask me to dinner:)

My husband paid $2.25 yesterday. My daughter was driving by a Wal Mart and saw where they were selling gas for $2.22 and she turned and stopped to fill her tank. She has to fill up twice a week and she is on the road so much driving her kids. I still have a half a tank, so hopefully by the time I need gas probably next week or after it will be cheaper than that. I don't remember what our ST is but the last time I filled up I paid $3.03 a gallon.

I read that here in Texas we produce 23 per cent of the nations gasoline at our refineries. You can't drive down Highway 225 without seeing them coming in for loading or leaving with a load. Not unusual to see five or six tankers lined up at the turn into the plant waiting to get in and load up. Shell also has a filling station on its premises.
