Therefore, I suspect that many of these executives are loaded up w/ stock at the companies expense. swz.salary.com I have been wrong in the past and will be wrong in the future but the key is to identify special situations that provide a better than even chance of succeeding. ================================================================ Perhaps you and/or other posters can provide some names of Contrarian investments that you have made in the past. Explain a few of the reasons that convinced you that this was a special situation and the approach you took to obtain a position (writing Put options, average in over a specific time period, or out right buy at capitulation). This will provide some insights to how a successful contrarian investor thinks. To be a good investor requires that one be humble, have an open mind and continue to learn. EKS
