Terrorism has always been going on. It's nothing new. And not even anything to be scared of unless you're in Iraq, Afghanistan and a few other spots in the world. Otherwise, you have as much as chance of dying from terrorism as you do being hit by lightning. I used to live in Europe as a kid. We had terrorist alerts against US targets all the time. But what we did not do was strip our civil liberties and freedoms back home, and try to use terrorism as an excuse to turn our American democracy into some kind of neo-fascist rightwing state. We also did not invade entire countries which had nothing to do with the terrorism to "fight terror". That's just insane.
