The crusades were the church's darkest hour, a senseless, hopeless bloody series of wars based on old myths, racism and superstition. Whatever God is, if "he" has any sense, I'm sure he disapproved. I'm sure "he" also disapproves of the currentday rightwing so-called "religious" so-called "conservatives" who dream of Armageddon and mutual self-destruction. These are the same type nuts who got us into the Cold War, which also turned out to be more of a self-fulfilling prophesy than anything real. We're lucky we didn't have a nucelar holocaust.

As Eisenhower warned "God help us if we ever have a president in charge of this arsenal who doesn't know the price of war". And we have one now.

Swiftvet funder caught perping dirty tricks in Indiana.
indystar.com

This proves the "swiftvets" weren't a veterans group at all, just another Rove dirty trick. In fact of the "I served with John Kerry" gang of liars, only two or three ever even met him, and none of them actually fought with him. None.
