Natural gas.

Not that it is a bad thing, granted, but for the people that want to get us away from fossil fuels, hydrogen power isn't the way to go.

As far as electricity is concerned, remember that while you northwesterners have a bunch of hydro, coal still fires more electric plants than any other fuel, so electric cars end up giving us more pollution, not less. That should change over time, though, as natural gas gains market share in electric generation.
